EHS REGULATORY SPECIALIST
Garden State Environmental, Inc., an occupational safety and health, indoor air quality and environmental consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental, Health and Safety Regulatory Specialist. The position involves project management, consulting, policy and program development and training in traditional OSHA and related environmental health and safety areas. The position requires routine travel to our client locations throughout NJ, NY, PA and CT. Flexibility in working from home office is possible.
Applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and at least 1 to 5 years experience in industrial hygiene, safety, or a closely related environmental health & safety field, and must be computer literate. Experience in developing and implementing OSHA and environmental compliance programs is preferred. The work will primarily involve meeting with clients, reviewing compliance documentation, conducting field safety and health audits and preparing and presenting various training programs. An emphasis will be placed on business development and enhancing and expanding client relationships.
Candidates must posses the ability to work independently, have strong verbal and written communication skills, good organization skills and must be dependable, disciplined, flexible and detail oriented.
