GSE Hires New Consultant: Donna Ruccione

GSE is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Donna Ruccione, an environmental consultant and public health professional with over twelve years of related experience. Her areas of emphasis have included regulatory environmental health inspections, environmental field investigations, health and safety planning, and education and training.

Before joining GSE, she worked with for both Monmouth and Passaic County Health Departments, private consulting firms and as a contractor for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). While working for the EPA, she conducted initial field investigations of Superfund Sites in Region 2, where she coordinated personnel, sampling of air, water and soil, data collection and health & safety monitoring.  Ms. Ruccione has developed Health and Safety Plans and procedures, conducted on-site health and safety monitoring, and trained personnel in health and safety topics.

Academically, Ms. Ruccione has earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Environmental Science from Ramapo College and is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist. She also has been accredited by the EPA as an AHERA Asbestos Inspector and Management Planner.

Ms. Ruccione will be responsible for guiding public and private sector clients on compliance with environmental and health and safety regulations, with an emphasis on training and policy development.
